Product Details

Due to high demand, there might be a few days delay before we can dispatch the medium size - sorry for any inconvience.

This sock may be ugly but it will be the most comfortable sock you will ever wear.

Made in New Zealand from 50% polypropylenes, 30% merino wool and 20% possum fur.

The polypropylene wicks moisture away form the skin, well the merino wool and possum fur are for warmth and comfort.

This sock is mid calf in length and has an elastic rib shank.

The sole and heal areas are cushioned with a high density pile that protects against blisters, making this great for walking and wearing inside boots.

Available at this great low price as we only get it in assorted colours, so you will receive whichever colour we have in stock.

    "Comfort Incarnate"

Posted by Sarah Swanson on 16th Feb 2018

I bought this sock on a whim in some little touristy corner of an outdoor gear shop in Arthur's Pass, and oh my, did I not know the gem I discovered! This sock has all the uniqueness of NZ while also being incredibly soft and warm. Compared even to my alpaca socks, these guys take the cake as far as warmth. I got back to the states and ordered almost everyone in my family a pair for Christmas. To quote the exact words of my brother-in-law "[these socks] have forced me to redefine a sock's role and purpose in my life. They are comfort incarnate." The Tin Shed was great, loved that someone took the time to scribble a little note of gratitude on my invoice, too. Keep up the good work guys!

These socks seem great; well cushioned and really warm (to be expected in Oz summer) but purchased in preparation for winter trip to Norway.
