Description

The Lynn jacket by Moke is a classic, mid-length, lightweight down jacket. Versatile, yet incredibly practical this jacket has a fully detachable hood which is readily unzipped and is well insulated with Duck down.

The jacket is slightly shaped in the waist area and finishes on the upper thigh area. (It measures approximately 65cm in length from shoulder to the base of the jacket.) The full length zipper closes to the top of the neckline providing a snug polo style neckline. This jacket has inset sleeves and discreet side pockets on both sides which zip securely.

Designed and distributed by Moke in Oamaru New Zealand and manufactured in China.

These jackets are comprised of Fill: 90% duck down 10% waterfowl feathers  Shell: 100% nylon. (A good down jacket should have at least 80% Duck down. If there is more than 20% feather composition you are more likely to get shedding of feathers).

Down is possibly nature's greatest insulation, and one of the easiest to adapt to human use. Down is a lightweight and 'feathery' feather, which when combined with more Down, traps a very large amount of air. This air is then heated by the body to provide insulation. Additionally, Down has the marvellous ability to breathe, lifting away perspiration so you don't experience the clamminess which often occurs when wearing synthetics.

These Down jackets are machine washable and will last years if treated correctly. It packs down conveniently into the small carrier bag provided.

The model wears a Size S and is 177cm (5'9) tall with an 83cm bust, 66cm waist and 86cm hip.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Turn garment inside out, machine wash on cold with a mild detergent that does not have fluorescing agents. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach. Once washed place your garment in the dryer with 3 clean tennis balls to return feathers back to original loft. Do not iron or dry clean.

Due to the lightweight nature of this garment, some feathers may occasionally protrude through the layers due to friction or static. DO NOT pull these feathers out, instead pinch the feather from the inside of the body and pull it back into the inside of the body of the jacket. Pulling feathers out can create holes in the fabric and should be avoided.

    This is my second Moke Puffer jacket from The Tin Shed and I am very happy with the product , size and fit. The service from The Tin Shed was excellent and the jacket was delivered to Adelaide Australia within a week of ordering on line. Can highly recommend .

    I thought that the had been sent the wrong order at first, because it folds down to next to nothing. It's extremely warm and fits beautifully and it doesn't make me look like the "Michelin Man" which I'm happy with. Definitely happy with my purchase. Prompt delivery too! Thank you Tin Shed

    After all my uncertainty about size and colour, the ladies at The Tin Shed helped and got it right. A lovely colour, electric blue, and nice feminine shaping. Not boxy in the waist area like some jackets. Just perfect. Thanks Moke for making such a jacket, and thanks to the fabulous ladies at The Tin Shed for prompt and helpful service.

    Very happy with garment and certainly keeps one warm. The only additional comment would be that although I got the largest size of 4XL, the body was fine for my size but a little more room around the hips would help, particularly as I am mostly in a mobility scooter sitting down and it does tend to bunch up.

    Lovely light jacket - l can’t wait to wear it (it is summer in Denmark now). I just love the colour and the shape of the jacket
